While the songwriting on Clint Roberts’ new album Rose Songs spans a large chunk of his creative life, the North Carolina native is very much living in the present. Offered a record contract at the start of the pandemic, he spent much of this long, strange year focused on delivering the best album possible, something he is now seeing come to fruition as Rose Songs is set to drop this Friday via Carry On Music. With his latest single “Nothing Left to Say” chewing up Spotify listens, we sat down with Roberts for a seven question session.
